The Taxpayer Advocate Service (TAS) is your voice at the IRS. Their job is to ensure that every taxpayer is treated fairly, and that you know and understand your rights. They can offer you free help with IRS problems that you can’t resolve on your own.
The Low Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC) is a service provided through the University of Wyoming College of Business to assist low income clients who have a dispute with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The clinic can help with liens and levies, notices of deficiency, innocent spouse relief, hearings, appeals, and other issues with the IRS.
